Monster High dolls
Monster High was created as a line of toy products in 2011 with dolls created by Mattel. Since then, a world of fantasy was born, such as TV shows, movies, videogames, stationery and others.
The characters have a human appearance although they are sons and daughters of well-known monsters of fictional stories and tales.
Monster High is an institute where students are a little unique. They are the most extravagant monsters that, in short, send a message: Be unique, be yourself.
Some of the students of this school are: Abbey Bominable, who is the daughter of the Yeti; Clawdeen Wolf, the Werewolf's daughter; Cleo de Nile, the daughter of the Egyptian Mummy; Frankie Stein, Frankenstein's daughter; Operetta, the daughter of the Phantom of the Opera; Lagoona Blue, the daughter of the Gill-man Wade Blue and a sea nymph; Jinafire Long, the daughter of the Chinese Dragon; Ghoulia Yelps, the daughter of a zombie; Draculaura, the daughter of Count Dracula; Invisi Billy, the son of the Invisible Man; Jackson Jekyll, the son of Dr. Jekyll; Porter Geiss, the son of the Poltergeist; ...
And, of course, there are also professors: Headless Headmistress Bloodgood, the daughter of the Headless Horseman; Mr. Where, the drama teacher; Mr. Rotter, the professor of Dead Languages; Mr. Hackington (Hack), the Mad Science teacher.; Coach Igor, the gym teacher; ...
The first film that was released from Monster High was in 2010 with the title “Monster High: New Ghoul at School” with a duration of only 30 minutes. This movie gives a lot of information that helps to understand what Monster High is. It focuses on a new student at the institute called Frankie Stein and shows how she befriends Draculaura, Clawdeen, Lagoona, Ghoulia, Cleo and Deuce.
Other audiovisuals are: Fright On!, Why do Ghouls Fall in Love?, Escape from Skull Shores, Friday Night Frights, Ghouls Rule, Scaris: City of Frights, 13 Wishes, …
